This is in response to “Is the textbook outdated?” A few years ago prepared a textbook and then began to think about how I disliked textbooks and how unconnected they are to the realities of reading and learning. So I put it on line to be downloaded without cost or obligation. I found that most publishers were willing to grant the permissions I needed. I have never had a regret about its not being in book form. You can find it at http://www.heydays.ws.
